Refund Policy

1. Try before you buy

Every new Photora account includes 3 free preview generations. We strongly encourage you to use them before purchasing, so you can judge the quality of the AI on your own photos. Because of this free trial, and because each paid generation incurs real, unrecoverable compute costs the moment it runs, our refund rules are as follows.

2. Starter packs (one-time purchases)

  • Unused packs: if you have not used any of the pack's HD credits, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase — no questions asked.
  • Partially used packs: once one or more HD credits from a pack have been used, the pack becomes non-refundable, except in the cases listed in Section 4.

3. Pro subscriptions

  • First billing period: if you have generated no HD photos in the current period, you may request a full refund of that period within 14 days of being charged.
  • Renewals: renewal charges are refundable within 14 days if no HD photos were generated in the new period. Otherwise renewals are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime to stop future charges and keep access until the period ends.
  • Unused monthly quota does not roll over and is not redeemable for cash.

4. We always refund when it's our fault

Regardless of the rules above, you are entitled to a refund (or credit restoration, at your choice) when:

  • a technical failure on our side charged a credit without delivering an image (our system also auto-refunds these credits);
  • you were charged twice for the same purchase;
  • the Service was materially unavailable for an extended period during your paid term;
  • an unauthorized charge was made on your account (please also contact your bank).

Dissatisfaction with the aesthetic outcome of a specific generation is not by itself grounds for a refund — AI results vary with input photos — but if several generations are clearly defective (e.g., corrupted or unrecognizable output), contact us and we will make it right with restored credits or a refund at our discretion, applied generously.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@photora.fun from your account email with the subject "Refund request", including the approximate purchase date and the reason. We respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle, our merchant of record, to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You may also receive a refund confirmation directly from Paddle.

6. EU/UK consumers — right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital services, this right lapses once you expressly request immediate performance — i.e., when you spend your first HD credit or generate your first HD photo in a billing period — and acknowledge losing the right of withdrawal, which you do at checkout. Until that point, your 14-day withdrawal right applies in full. Nothing in this policy limits your non-waivable statutory rights.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — we resolve almost every issue faster than the dispute process. Accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.
